I don’t know what to blog about.
I asked my 3-year-old niece what I should blog about. She said, “I don’t know.”
“But if you could write a story, what would it be about?”
“I only read books,” she said.
“You don’t imagine new books?”
“No, I just read books.”
“But if you could read a brand new book, what would you want it to be about?”
“I don’t know”
And that’s exactly how I feel about my blog today.

Isn’t it amazing how some days several ideas for blog posts pop into our minds and then on other days, it’s a complete blank. Fear not, ideas will come.

Why not blog about story brainstorm ideas? Or a chatter you’ve invented who baffles you and you haven’t quite figured out yet?
At Pitt, one of my fiction professors had us wrote out a dialogue between us and one of our characters to discover more about them when we got stuck.
